I posted an ultrasound picture on FB yesterday and am surprised at some of the comments people made. Hubbin says I am being too sensitive, but you would think people wouldn’t be outright RUDE when they make a comment on there (about anything, not just a pregnancy announcement). Didn’t their mother’s teach them to not say anything at all if they couldn’t say anything nice? And if not, didn’t they watch Land Before Time growing up? That movie taught the same thing, “If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.” Not a hard concept, but I guess some people just don’t get it.
\nI ended up in an argument with a person I went to college with over a comment on FB one time and after that, if I disagree I just don’t say anything. Obviously that person is either a) more informed than I am, or b) not interested in the truth on the subject, so any comment I make will be ignored anyway.
