Cajun Broil

We went to the cajun broil for Homestead Bible Camp this evening and it was both fun and bland at the same time. We had an entire table of Ericksons, so that was fun. I got to hold both Kacey-who was double fisting the corn and LOVING it-and Sawyer, who was a generally happy guy tonight. Both of those two are just adorable and a ton of fun to spend time with. And then there is Miss B. Bailey Boo is ever the center of attention and LOVES her cousin and sister with a fierce passion. I can hardly wait to see how the three of them deal with each other in five, ten, fifteen years. I’m sure it will be great! 🙂

We also went bowling with M tonight. And Nikki Hill came too. We hadn’t seen her since her wedding in August, so it was good to catch up. We had a fun time bowling, except for the people next to us…
We got there and put our stuff on the nearest empty table to our lane when this old guy (alright, he was early fifties) came over and told us him and his girlfriend got half of the table. That’s not how it works! Each group gets a table, an entire table, at the bowling lane. That is how its set up. And we couldn’t take any other table because the group next to us already had it. Then his girlfriend appears…she was no more than 22 years old! CREEPY! They never sat down anyway, so about halfway through the bowling time I sat on the other side of the table, on “their” side of the table. Her purse was under the other chair, but about five minutes later it had moved to the next table over, which was empty, and we had procured ourselves a WHOLE COMPLETE table!
